It's been a while

It's been a while since i last posted something. Exactly a month and a day to be exact. So...... what is new... let's backtrack...

Went to Ottawa with my sister, stephen and dana. First, we went to the aviation museum which was cool, saw some amazing old planes. There was this one plane that looked like it was from the Transformers 2 movie, so i took a picture.

I wish they had more attractions for little kids, I wasn't bored or anything, but I was hoping for more interactive games. (Ohhh, the flight simulator was cool!)...I know my sister would have liked that...

After the museum, we spent a lot of our time at the market for dinner and for night outs. Here is a list of the places we went in the market:

1) Honest Lawyers- I loved this place, it served DRINKS (apparently they served 7 shots of beer on a wooden paddle for a reasonable price, but i didn't know about this until afterward), FOOD, AND ARCADE GAMES!!!...I told Dana that i wouldn't play the Basketball arcade game, but the urge grew too much that by the end of the night, i had EVERYONE playing the basketball game with me. (My highest score was 80....yeah i know, it's pretty good)

-There is an honest lawyer 5 minutes from my place here in hamilton. If it's anything like the one in Ottawa, i think i have found my "Local Bar" (More on that later)

2) Fish Market- Lovely, upscale version of Red Lobster..the fish i had was delightful. If you're ever in Ottawa looking for gooood seafood (WILL)..go to the fish market...

3) Cornerstones Bar and Grill - Atmosphere was GREAT! loved the music (too bad the DJ didn't have DMX), loved the food (the nachos were great, apparently one of the best in Ottawa), and I loved the modern look of the bar area. Check it out when you're ever there (http://www.cornerstonebarandgrill.ca/)

4) Studio 34- Like Apartment 58 in Guelph, it attempts to be an up-scale night club but fails horribly. We knew we should have left this place when we were in line watching the douche-bag bouncer allow in douche-bag guidos or the Waterloo Warriors' basketball team after having lost a game. Once inside (after an hour wait of course) it looks like a normal club with an oversized bar and a small dance floor (WE DIDNT DANCE THOUGH)

...Now I wish i took some pictures of this studio 34.

One GREAT thing i stumbled-upon from this Ottawa trip were two websites. They have helped me pass the time whenever I was bored. And yes, I will share them with you

1) www.youshouldhaveseenthis.com - 99 videos (some good, some alright) of the most popular videos on the internet (One of my favourites is leprechaun in mobile alabama). IF you know of more, PLEASE comment it in, or msg me. I love new funny videos.

2) failblog.org As a consequence of the first site, this is pretty funny. I described this as like the headlines bit from Jay Leno...

So check these out, they are pretty funny...
